The Company shapes its social policy by balancing the interests of its employees, communities in the areas of its operations, the whole society and shareholders, strictly complying with legislative regulations and requirements.
In an effort to ensure dynamic growth and better production performance, the Company invests heavily in social projects and participates in governmental and regional projects for national culture, education, healthcare, and social support.
The Company seeks to maintain stability and strengthen social and economic potential of the regions where it operates. Surgutneftegas aims to keep and create new work places through business expansion in every region of its operation, raise local living standards, and finance regional social programs.
The Company creates proper working, living, recreation and health improvement conditions for the employees, promotes sports activities, and supports retired employees and veterans. These are essential factors in motivating and developing the Company’s team, which is a major asset thereof, and a key to future corporate growth.
Sustained performance of any company goes hand in hand with social protection and benefits to employees. The scope of social benefits, protection and compensations is specified in the Collective Agreement. The Company’s employees are granted more than thirty social benefits if they reach production targets.
The Company’s social policy is formulated and implemented on an ongoing basis in compliance with approved regulatory documents.
