Pension security
To provide additional social guarantees and sustainable human resources management, the Company adopted Regulations for Non-State Pension Provision for the Employees of OJSC “Surgutneftegas”.
The pension scheme carried out cooperatively with Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” offers the right of guaranteed life non-state pension to retired employees.
Surgutneftegas launched non-state pension payments to its retirees in 1999. Today, over 15,000 former Company’s employees receive non-state pension. Non-state pension is financed by Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” contributions and the income it gains from pension reserve management.
Non-State Pension Fund was founded in 1995.
The founders of Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” are:
OJSC “Surgutneftegas”;
LLC “Kirishinefteorgsintez”;
LLC Pskovnefteproduct.
Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” operates under perpetual license No. 22/2 issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development on 26 April 2004 allowing for pension provision and insurance.
Being one of the largest non-state pension funds in terms of assets employed for activities set forth in the Charter and pension reserves, Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” strives to fulfill its pension obligations in full and timely manner.
Key performance figures of Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” as of 01 January 2011:
- assets employed for activities set forth in the Charter of Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” amounted to RUB 13,388,368 thousand;
- pension reserves of Non-State Pension Fund “Surgutneftegas” totaled RUB 3,541,654 thousand;
- number of members – 20,884 persons;
- including employees provided with non-state pension – 16,601 persons;
- number of persons entered into Pension Provision and Insurance Agreements – 1,033 persons;
- investment gain under Non-state Pension Provision Agreements for 2010 – 10 % interest per annum;
- investment gain under Obligatory Pension Insurance Agreements for 2010 – 9.42 % interest per annum;
