SURGUTNEFTEGAS SUMS UP ITS OPERATING RESULTS FOR 9 MONTHS OF 2005
Oil production of OJSC “Surgutneftegas” during the nine months of 2005 reached 47 mn 493 thousand tons (including 234 thousand tons produced at the Talakanskoye field) against 43 mn 947 thousand tons during the same period of 2004, which translates into an 8% increase.
Gas production approached 10 bn 604 mn cubic meters (10 bn 540 mn cubic meters produced during the same period of 2004). The Company processed about 2 bn 777 mn cubic meters of gas.
The Company drilled more than 2 mn 380 thousand meters of rock including 124,9 thousand meters of exploratory drilling compared to 2 mn 295 thousand meters drilled in January – September 2004.
The Company commissioned 688 new wells (669 wells commissioned in the same period of the previous year).
