REELECTION OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

On December 19, 2007, OJSC “Surgutneftegas” held the Board meeting to consider the reelection of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Nikolay P. Zakharchenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced his voluntary resignation due to his poor health on December 07, 2007.

The Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Mr. Zakharchenko, and appointed Vladimir P. Erokhin to act as Chairman until the Company holds the shareholder’s meeting.

17.01.2012 SURGUTNEFTEGAS RAMPS UP OIL PRODUCTION
In 2011, Surgutneftegas produced 60,780,500 tons of oil (up 2% from 2010), where new producing areas – Talakanskoye and Alinskoye fields in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – increased their output by 62% to 5,384,900 tons of oil per year.

On 16 December 2011 Surgutneftegas launched the third oilfield in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – the Severo-Talakanskoye field.
