OJSC “SURGUTNEFTEGAS” RECEIVED TEN PRIZES AT THE OKRUG CONFERENCE FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

OJSC “Surgutneftegas” took part in IV Conference for Young Professionals of Oil Production and Geological Exploration in the Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Okrug, which took place on October 21-23 in the city of Kogalym, at “KogalymNIPIneft” R & D Institute. The delegation from the Company consisted of 27 young experts, including 3 representatives of “PA “Kirishinefteorgsintez” Ltd. and 8 experts from “SurgutNIPIneft”.

Delegates from 22 enterprises and organizations working in the territory of the Okrug presented 104 reports in 9 sessions. The jury included representatives of the Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources Department of the Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Okrug, Chief Administration of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection and Ecological Monitoring of the Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Okrug, qualified experts from LUKoil and industry R & D institutes. According to the jury’s decision, a few additional awards were introduced in some sections, which increased the number of awards to 32.

Young professionals from OJSC “Surgutneftegas” were awarded four first prizes, a second prize and five third prizes. Prizes were given for the reports in the following sections: “Oil and Gas Production Automation, Metrology, and Communications”, “Petrochemistry”, “Power Engineering”, and “Environmental Protection”.
